Halloween (1978)

  • Michael Myers' mask is a Captain Kirk mask painted white. - J
    • Addition: This is true. John Carpenter was good friends with Gene Rodenberry when he was shooting Halloween. Gene allowed him to go through some star trek props and came across a rubber mould which was used to make a wax model of Captain Kirk's head. It had exactly the blank, emotionless expression that John had been looking for. - squigs
      • Correction: Actually it was said that they found the Captain Kirk mask in a costume shop in Hollywood. They brought it to the set and painted it white, cut the sideburns off and frizzed up the hair a little. I don't know where you got your information from. (Source: The Making of Halloween) - Mikey
      • Correction: In Halloween, they needed to find a mask for the main character (Michael Myers), they went to a local hardware store and found a William Shattner mask that was actually used in the 60's for a show called "Devil's Rain"-they spray painted the face white and teased out the hair - that became Michael Myers. - Angie
  • "Halloween" was supposed to be titled "The Baby-sitter Murders". - Ash
  • Peter Cushing and Christopher Lee were both approached for the role of Dr. Loomis. - Michael R.
  • Dr. Loomis was named after Nancy Loomis who played Annie. (Source: Halloweenmovies.com) - KJ
    • Correction: Sam Loomis was not named after Nancy Loomis, he was named after the Sam Loomis from Psycho. (Source: Common knowledge) - KK79
  • Dr. Samuel 'Sam' J. Loomis played by Donald Pleasence is a reference to the Sam Loomis from Psycho (1960). (Source: Common knowledge/imdb.com) - KK79, Webmaster

  • You can see Dana Carvey in the background as a reporter if you look closely at beginning of movie. - Shell

Halloween: The Curse of Michael Myers (1995)

  • Michael Myers is always played by a stunt man. The stunt man that was used in Halloween Curse of Michael Myers was a drunk the last fifteen minutes of the film he got so drunk they replaced him you can tell because he suddenly loses weight. - Joe
    • Correction: Actually, they had to scrap the original ending because Donald Pleasance died. However, George Wilbur wasn't available for the reshoots so they had to bring in A. Michael Lerner. That's why it was a different Michael at the end, not because he was drunk. - Mojo67821

Halloween H20 (1998)

  • The Knife Michael Myers uses is a real 19 inch knife. - Mike
  • If you people have channel 27 (E!) and ever watch Mysteries and Scandals in one episode they say where they shot H20 was really haunted. Thought u mite like 2 know. - KillahJJ
  • When Keri/Laurie gets out of the car, she tells Molly (Michelle Williams) to drive down the road to the Beckers. This is a direct reference to Scream, where Casey's last name is Becker. - Kelli
  • When Jodi Lyn O'Keefe's boyfriend in the movie sees Michael Myers, Michael is wearing a different mask than he's wearing during the whole movie. - Devo
  • When Keri/Laurie is at the gate of the school, she talks to an older woman by an older car. That woman is Jamie Lee Curtis' mom in real life, Janet Leigh, who played in Psycho (the original, not the one with Anne Heche). The car that Janet Leigh is driving is like the one she buys in Psycho. (Source: movie) - Dawn

Hannibal (2001)

  • When people hear the name Hannibal they think of the sequel to the unforgettable Silence of the Lambs. Hannibal is actually the third book in the Dr. Lecter trilogy. Known by most big fans that Manhunter was Lecter's first appearance. - josh howell
    • Correction: The title of the first book is Red Dragon not Manhunter. Manhunter was the name of the straight-to-video movie version of the book. - Hellbabe
    • Comment: It is hard to consider Hannibal the third book in the Dr. Lecter trilogy. Hannibal barely played a role in the book Red Dragon. Silence of the lambs and Hannibal are more like spinoffs of Red Dragon then sequels to it. - bballer12
  • When you see the guys putting Hannibal Lecter on the FBI Most Wanted List, on the top left or right hand corner of the screen you can see Osama Bin Laden. - Ainametwen

View Movie Goofs
  • The aircraft used in the movie are privately owned British Gnat trainers/light attack aircraft in totally incorrect markings. Both single- and two-seat versions are used. - Olav Westerman
    • Comment: This isn't a correction since Hot Shots is supposed to be a goofy movie, but in reality the fighter planes the good guys are flying are Gnat single-seat light fighters, made by Hawker Siddely (now British Aerospace). (Source: Experience) - Cooper
  • In a scene were the aircraft are seen flying by the island-area of the carrier, the planes are real US Navy Intruders. - Olav Westerman
  • The deck of the aircraft carrier where most of the action takes place, was built up atop a cliff facing the sea. The Gnats coming in for landing just flew over at low altitude and never landed on, nor took off from the deck. Nor did they operate from a real carrier, since they lack the necessary equipment to do so, and the US Navy anyhow wouldn't have allowed non-Navy aircraft to land on a carrier. The few scenes where real carriers are seen show other aircraft than Gnats. - Olav Westerman

(Source: own knowledge) - TAZ
    • Info: Lou Ferrigno played Hulk in the TV series. - Webmaster

Hunchback of Notre Dame, The (1996)

  • In the beginning, when they zoom up on the city, Belle from Beauty and The Beast walks by with a book. You have to look very closely, she is there for a matter of seconds. - SkiLip
  • In addition to Belle, as mentioned above, you also see some hunters carrying Timon & Pumbaa, and the man in the doorway is holding a rug with the same pattern as the flying rug from Aladdin. - offmybach
